Autumn Reinhardt-Simpson
BIO
Biography

Autumn Reinhardt-Simpson is a PhD candidate in Religious Studies at the University of Alberta where she examines ritual and liturgical change during the English Reformation through the lenses of gender and materiality. Autumn has many secondary research interests, especially the study of historical memory and the ideological uses of history.  Autumn was the editor of Axis Mundi, the former graduate student journal for religious studies at the University of Alberta. She has a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where she focused on archival studies. She came to the University of Alberta after years working as an archivist in museums and libraries in the United States and after a couple of years exploring and publishing in nontheistic and feminist theology.
