Jessica Scott Kerrin has hit many speed bumps when it comes to her writing career, but she’s learned to hone her navigation skills along the way. Now she’s designed a practical, six-week creative writing workshop for teens (ages 13 to 17) that will show how to harness the driving power of words and the pleasure of writing stories that will keep readers strapped in for the journey. She’ll discuss types of writers, story ideas, characters, plot, pacing, setting, editing and establishing a writing routine. The series will be delivered (virtually) on Saturdays, from April 22 to May 27 (11:00 am to 12:00 pm Atlantic Standard Time).
