Is there an author alive who feels their book got the publicity it deserved? How do publishers promote books? How can authors best work with their publisher? And what can they themselves do to maximize attention for their books?

VIKKI VANSICKLE has grappled with all these questions, both as an award-winning author herself and as marketing and publicity director at PENGUIN RANDOM HOUSE CANADA. She’ll explain how publicity and marketing campaigns are developed and executed, discuss what works and what doesn’t, and give authors valuable tips about self-promotion.

In conversation with author Vicki Grant, followed by audience Q&A.
