BIO
Biography

Cristy Watson is an award-winning author of eight middle-grade and young adult hi-lo novels with Orca Book Publishers and Lorimer Kids and Teens. Her poetry also appears in several journals, including CV2 Magazine, Worth More Standing (Caitlin Press) and Fire in the Heart (Three Oceans Press). In addition to providing writing workshops online and in person, she also mentors authors and has edited several novels and books of poetry for writers. She also loves to enter writing contests like the CV2 2-Day Poem Contest, where she garnered Editor's Choice in 2013, the 3-Day Novel Contest, NANOWRIMO, and the Poetry Marathon.
