BIO
Biography
Cristy Watson is an award-winning author of eight middle-grade and young adult hi-lo novels with Orca Book Publishers and Lorimer Kids and Teens. She volunteers at the Surrey International Writer's Conference, is currently supporting a program through the BC Federation of Writers, regularly judges writing contests, and provides writing workshops online and in person. She mentors authors and has edited several novels and books of poetry for writers. She also loves to enter writing contests like the CV2 2-Day Poem Contest, where she garnered Editor's Choice in 2013, the 3-Day Novel Contest, NANOWRIMO, and the Poetry Marathon.
