Helen Porter

Biography

Helen Fogwill Porter was born on May 8, 1930 in St. John's, Newfoundland and is the eldest child of Robert and Evelyn (Horwood) Fogwill. She is still living in St. John's. She was educated at Holloway School and Prince of Wales College. In 1953, she married John Porter, a teacher. He died in 1983. Porter has four children--Kathy, Anne, John and Stephen.
