Tara Sidhoo Fraser is a queer writer and creator of South Asian and Scottish ancestry. She serves on the board of directors for Indian Summer Festival, as well as the board for the Outdoor Women's Club of Vancouver. She also sits as co-chair on 2SLGBTQIA+ Advisory board for the CoV,
In her spare time, Tara enjoy's kickboxing, dragon boating, pole dancing and everything outdoors!
She holds a BA in Anthropology, and her work has been published with Autostraddle and Anathema magazine, among others. When My Ghost Sings: A Memoir of Stroke, Recovery and Transformation is her debut novel.

I would be absolutely honoured to host a workshop for people who wish to write their
memoir in a creative non-fiction format. I would discuss where to begin and different ways to display your tale to your audience. We will look at different books, styles of expression and ways in which to personally write your narrative.
These classes will take time to settle into your body and express, through words, in your
own voice, the tale. At the end of these (or this) workshop, there will be an evening of presentation from students to the public.
