Mary Trafford

Biography

Mary Trafford’s writing has appeared in several publications, including The Fiddlehead, Contemporary Verse 2 (CV2), Arc Poetry Magazine, Canadian Woman Studies, Gone Dogs, Up the Gatineau, and several chapbook projects. A graduate of the universities of Guelph, Toronto and Ottawa, she is a retired speech writer and medical illustrator. Mary has a passion for horses, and has been a longtime horse owner, riding instructor and equestrian. Certified as a Level III Centered Riding® clinician, Mary volunteers as editor of "Centered Riding News," the quarterly magazine of Centered Riding Inc., a non-profit, international, educational equestrian organization.
