BIO
Biography

Vikki VanSickle is the author of a number of award-winning books for children, including the novels The Winnowing, Summer Days, Starry Nights, and the Benji & Clarissa books (Words That Start With B; Love is a Four-Letter Word; Days That End in Y). Her picture books have been translated and published around the world, and include If I Had a Gryphon, Teddy Bear of the Year and Anonymouse. Vikki is a devoted member of the children's book community. She currently balances writing with her duties as the Director of Marketing and Publicity for the young readers program at Penguin Random House Canada and she curates a regular kids' book segment for CTV Your Morning. She has a MA in Children's Literature from the University of British Columbia and an honours degree in Drama from Queen's University. Originally from Woodstock, Ontario, she currently resides in Toronto.
