Biography

Kath Healing (they/them) is a poet based in Victoria, BC. Their work appears in PRISM international, The Fiddlehead, Grain, Contemporary Verse 2, Plenitude, Pulp Literature, and The Malahat Review, among others. Their poetry explores queerness and disability through the body as a site of rupture, survival, and ecological witness. They are the recipient of the Victoria Writers’ Society Poetry Prize and maintain an active spoken-word practice. Their first chapbook is forthcoming, and they are currently at work on a full-length collection.
