Madeleine Hart
BIO
Biography
Madeleine is a Canadian author and video game writer based out of Minden, Ontario, Canada.
Her middle grade fiction book, Year of the Carrot, was released in Spring 2025 by Second Story Press. One of her short stories, Sad Cat, is included in the upcoming anthology from Red Deer Press, I Am Here.
In the video game industry, she's worked on titles such as Watch Dogs, Prince of Persia and Assassin's Creed, and was nominated for a Writers Guild Award for video game narrative “Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey”.
Madeleine is Creative Director with small indie game developer Cat Amuck Studios.
When not writing she enjoys walking the dog, outdoor sports and on rainy days she plays the piano.
