Sharon McInnes
BIO
Biography
Sharon is the author of Walking Each Other Home, the story of her caregiving journey with her mom, who had dementia and lived with Sharon and her husband. The memoir was released by BWL Publishing in February 2026.
Also an award-winning short story writer, her short fiction has been published in The New Quarterly, Sea and Cedar Magazine, Island Writer, and several anthologies.
Sharon is a board member of the Comox Valley Writers Society and host of Beyond the Page in the Comox Valley, a podcast that interviews writers and others in the literary world.
