BIO
Biography
Stewart is an author based in Ottawa, Canada. He began his career in film and video production, working as a scriptwriter, director, cameraman and editor. His work was nominated for Gemini and CASBY awards and won accolades from the Yorkton Film Festival, the New York Film & Television Festival, the Mercury Awards (New York) and the Canadian Film and Television Association. Since 1998, he has focused solely on writing. He is a senior writer with Stiff, an Ottawa communications agency. His first surviving work of fiction is The Cutting Room, a finalist in the English fiction category of the 2015 Ottawa Book Awards. His second novel, Six Days to Say Goodbye, is scheduled for release in 2026.
