Kris Purdy
BIO
Biography
Kris Purdy is a former musician, singer-songwriter and public broadcaster. She spent a big chunk of her growing up years in Tucson, Arizona but Canada has always been home. She has a Masters in Social Anthropology from the University of Toronto and received a diploma in jazz guitar from McEwan University (formerly Grant McEwan Community College). Kris studied creative writing at George Brown and the University of Toronto and graduated from the Humber College School for Writers Creative Writing program. At present, she resides in Toronto with her partner and their dog Maggie.
