T.K. Hernández

Biography

T.K. Hernández is an author, journalist/photojournalist, and editor. Her writing appears in publications such as Global Research, CubaSi, Telesur, Medium, Buzzfeed, and Cuba Diplomatica, as well as other online media. 

She holds a BA in from Western University and studied economic development at Oxford University. Ms. Hernández is a member of the Canadian Network on Cuba, The Writers Union of Canada, the ACES Society for Editing, and the Cuba Research Forum (University of Nottingham). 

Ms. Hernández has published three books, the most recent, “The Cuba Interviews: Conversations on Foreign Investment and Economic Development,” (Palgrave Macmillan, 2023). 

Currently, Ms. Hernández is working on two nonfiction books: a book on medical tourism, and the second, a collaborative work on the Global South.
