Bicky A. Marquez
BIO
Biography

Bicky A. Marquez is a Ph.D. in Applied Physics (optics/photonics) from the Bourgogne Franche-Comté University, France (2018), where she worked at the FEMTO-ST Institute on artificial intelligence photonic hardware. She is a research scientist at the Physics Department of Queen's University, Kingston, Canada. Her research interests are nonlinear and complex dynamical systems, information theory, artificial intelligence and machine learning, computer architecture, and philosophy of mind. She has authored a book titled INTERACTIONS and several peer-reviewed papers. Additionally, she paints and draws portraits, landscapes, and complex shapes [Latest exhibition: https://agnes.queensu.ca/exhibition/superradiance/].
