La Poesia di Carol Shields, the first bilingual collection of Carol Shields’ published poetry is now released and available on Amazon.  Translated and curated by Nella Cotrupi, and published by I Quaderni del Bardo Edizioni di Stefano Donno, this volume includes the poems from the three poetry collections that Carol Shields published during her lifetime: “Others”, “Intersect” and “Coming to Canada”.  Her poetic voice, offered in both the original English and the Italian translation, is just as resonant and confident as that of her later prize-winning novels.
