Shawne Yukimi MacIntyre is a Canadian writer of Japanese and Scottish descent and calls the Pacific Northwest of Canada, home. She explores ancestry, folklore, art and mixed-ness in her fiction, non-fiction and children's literature. Shawne is represented by Westwood Creative Artists. Her works have been published in Emerge-21, Ricepaper and Montecristo. Shawne is a graduate of The Writer's Studio at Simon Fraser University and has a Master of Museum Studies degree (University of Toronto) which informs her folklore-related writing. When not writing, she is reading, traveling with her family, wishing she was swimming in a lake or thinking of the perfect gin and tonic.
