Hey! Are you a neurodivergent artist or an artist with a disability who could use support with a grant application? As a neurodivergent artist myself, I understand how marmoreal and mentally intimidating these grants can seem.
A number of arts funders — including the Canada Council for the Arts, Ontario Arts Council and BC Arts Council — offer application assistance or accessibility supports for eligible artists who face barriers in completing grant applications.
I provide grant-writing and application support through these programs and have worked with artists using this kind of assistance before.
The best part: if you’re eligible, the funder may cover some or all of the cost of this support, often meaning you don’t have to pay out of pocket.
I can help with organizing and articulating your ideas, developing project descriptions, working through application questions and budgets, and putting together a clear, competitive application.
