Event: Feb 29, 2024 | 06:23 AM (EST)

Please join me on February 29 as I launch my latest book, Atrocity on the Atlantic, at Beeton Hall, Toronto Reference Library (789 Yonge Street, near Yonge/Bloor subway station) at 6:30 pm.

Atrocity on the Atlantic offers a full account of the sinking of Canadian hospital ship, Llandovery Castle, off the coast of Ireland in June 1918 by a German U-boat.

The submarine commander tried to murder survivors to conceal his war crime, an action that resulted in global outrage and an unprecedented ruling in a German courtroom.

My book examines this largely forgotten tragedy that took the lives of over 230 people and forever changed war crimes prosecutions and international law.

My presentation will last one hour and include time for audience questions.

Books will be available for sale and signing after the event (cash or credit accepted).

This event is free and open to the public.
