This is the first book I have written in Spanish. Published in Madrid it is an exploration of  a remarkable figure in the history 20th century Spanish culture. It is story suffused with struggle both for personal survival and for modern art and artists set within a context of  Spain's long period of instability, violence and danger both for clerics and for free thinkers.
