BIO
Biography

Richard was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and has lived in various cities in North America but settled back in his home town in 2002. He earned a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the University of Manitoba. His first book, Hiding Scars, is a historical fiction novel and was published in 2018. His second book, presently being pitched, is a young adult novel entitled Stealing Amazing Fantasy #15. He enjoys writing short fiction and likes to experiment with different voices and genres.

In 2020 his short story "Same Time Tomorrow" won the Two Sisters Writing and Publishing Romance Short Story Contest. In 2021 "First Day Back" was published in the Through My Eyes anthology. "The Bus of Shame" was published in The Writers' Co-op Rabbit Hole V anthology in 2022.  He is just as likely to read the latest hot literary novel as he is to flip through an old comic book.
