Alison Colwell
BIO
Biography
Alison Colwell is a writer, mother, domestic violence survivor and community organizer.
Alison Colwell graduated from the BFA program at the University of Victoria in 2002 and is now the Executive Director of the Galiano Club & Community Food Program, a charity with one of its goals being increasing food security on Galiano Island.
Her CNF essays have been published in several literary journals including: The Humber Literary Review, Hippocampus Magazine, Dorothy Parker's Ashes, Literary Mama and Grist Magazine.
Her fiction short stories have been published in: The Orange & Bee Magazine, Daily Science Fiction, Tangled Locks Journal, and Crow & Cross Keys Magazine.
She lives on Galiano Island, Canada.
