Biography

I am a writer and freelance editor and writer based out of Treaty 7 territory (Calgary, AB) with experience in proofreading, copyediting, and line/content editing. I specialize in substantive/developmental editing in speculative fiction, creative nonfiction, academic essays, and young adult literature.

I earned a degree in English and Creative Writing from Mount Royal University, where I won multiple awards for both my creative and academic writing. I wrote my undergraduate thesis on the relationship between authors and readers that is constructed through science fiction storyworlds, and the purpose of these secondary worlds in our contemporary reality.

You can find my writing in Pithead Chapel, Eloquenti, Editors Weekly, and The Globe and Mail.
