Carolyn Jean Nicholson
BIO
Biography

Carolyn began writing after she retired so she could tell the story of some of her ancestors which she and her mother had researched over many, many years. Carolyn is a retired ordained minister in The United Church of Canada. She has also worked in health information management and post-secondary education. She loves to travel with her sisters, often to the Isle of Skye, Scotland, the home of her Nicolson ancestors. She is very involved in Clan MacNeacail (MacNicol/Nicolson) and is currently planning the 2026 International Gathering of the Clan in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Her most recent book, Isabel: the price of freedom, is due to be published in September 2026.
