Charles Johnston is an Emmy Award winning screenwriter who has written on many successful children's TV shows, including: "Paw Patrol," "Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum" (CSA and WGC Nominee, 2022), and "Odd Squad" (Emmy Winner, 2016). He co-created "Detentionaire" for Corus Entertainment, c0-wrote the feature film "The Way of the West," the "Falcon Beach" television movie pilot, and was head writer on the 3rd season of "Canadian Idol." He recently obtained a private investigator license, started part-time work as a court reporter, and recently published his first novella, a psychological thriller mystery entitled "Sleep Walk."
