Biography

Christina Kilbourne (she/her) is an award-winning author of adult, young adult, and middle grade fiction.

Her books have won several readers choice awards over the years, including a Forest of Reading Red Maple Award (Ontario Library Association), Manitoba Young Readers Choice Award, two Snow Willow Awards, and a Red Cedar Award (British Columbia). She has also had her books nominated for four Snow Willow Awards, two Red Maple Awards and a New York State Charlotte Award.

She is a four-time recipient of Ontario Arts Council grants for Works in Progress and her writing has been translated into Slovenian, Ukrainian, Portuguese, Spanish and Braille!

Christina currently lives in Gravenhurst, Ontario where she enjoys outdoor activities such as cycling, rowing, skiing and hiking. She is also addicted to hot yoga.
