Claire Sicherman is the author of Bloom: Letters on Girlhood (in collaboration with Nicole Breit) and Imprint: A Memoir of Trauma in the Third Generation. Her writing has been featured in acclaimed anthologies and literary journals. Claire is a facilitator, speaker, and a trauma-informed somatic writing coach, supporting writers in bringing the stories they hold in their bodies onto the page.
Claire is a graduate of the creative non-fiction program at The Humber School for Writers and earned her B.A. at UBC. She has certification in Narrative Therapy, The Healing Trauma Program, Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy, Healing Trauma: Working with Somatic wounds, Grief & Loss Training, Healing Intergenerational Trauma Training, Compassionate Inquiry Short Course, Somatic Studies, Trauma-Informed Yoga, Yin Yoga, and Journalism.
