Biography

Born in Montreal, boatbuilder, sailor, retired medical laboratory manager, first published Montreal Gazette 1977, recently completed Doctorate in History at Queen's University, alumnus of Humber School for Writers mentored by M.G. Vassanji.

Published nine books to date (2024), including IPPY Award-winning historical fiction (The Smithyman Saga - 5 volumes), four histories and pieces published in various daily newspapers and other publications in Canada including the Montreal Star, Toronto Star, Globe and Mail and the Kingston Whig-Standard, as well as various professional journal pieces related to his career as a Medical Laboratory Manager.
