Donna Frederick
BIO
Biography

I live in Saskatoon.  I currently write non-fiction but hope to begin writing non-fiction in the next few years.

I published a book on eBook metadata and write a technology column.  My interests include disruptive technologies, artificial intelligence, information-seeking behaviours, open science, academic publishing, and information management.

In terms of my career, I worked in many different types of roles in various types of libraries.  This included public, academic, research and special libraries.  The positions I held ranged from doing story times and working at a reference desk to heading up a large department, being a cataloguing and metadata librarian, working as an embedded librarian in a research facility and organizing a large collection of documents for a water treatment plant.  I have recently refocused my efforts on writing and running an Etsy shop.
