BIO
Biography

Heidi von Palleske is a writer, actor, and activist. She has written poetry, articles, fiction, screenplays and pieces for CBC radio. As an actor she is known for being series regualars in Canadian television, and for her leading roles in such films as Bordello, Ramona and Dead Ringers. Her work, both as a writer and as an actor, is subtle, intense and penetrating, all flavoured with a sprinkling of wit and humour. Heidi spearheaded three documantaries against the use, mining and exportation of asbestos, dedicating three years to that cause until Canadian policies were changed. Currently, Heidi spends time on both the Atlantic and Pacific Coasts, but calls Toronto home.
