Biography

Holly Du was mental health social worker before her retirement.

She has been writing since the age of fourteen, and she has been using Chinese as her writing media.

She is specialized in non-fiction, mostly biography writing, and she has written fourteen books, and her books were published in Hong Kong, China and Taiwan.

Currently, she is working on her first English book “By the Riverside of Kampuchea”. It is an epic novel about the life of a Canadian-Chinese-Cambodian woman Sieu Van Tran. It portrays how she overcome sexism, ethnic violence, famine, as well as PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), and how she eventually claimed her new identity in Canada, and in Christianity where she found peace.
