Biography

Jennifer DeLeskie (she/her) lives in Tiohtià:ke (Montreal). Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Exile Quarterly, The Dalhousie Review, Beneath Ceaseless Skies, Prairie Fire, AE Presents: Unréal, The Colored Lens, and elsewhere, and has been nominated for the Carter V. Cooper Exile Award (CVC10) and the Fish Publishing Short Story Prize. She is Editor-in-Chief of Quist Magazine, a new online journal from the Quebec Writers’ Federation showcasing the poetry and prose of young Quebec writers. A member of the Quebec Writers’ Federation, Codex Writers, and the Barreau du Québec, she will publish her debut novel—a coming-of-age story set in near-future Quebec—with Flame Arrow in August 2026.
