Jennifer currently lives in Calgary, Alberta Canada and calls herself an "Accidental Author."
She is the author of "An Ode to Myself: Poetry Written for Cats, by a Cat", a humorous poetry collection that explores life, ego, affection, and the intricacies of cardboard boxes through the observant lens of a cat.
Jennifer has a BFA in Theatre from the University of Calgary, complemented by extensive studies in military history and art.
From parodies of the classics to original works, these poems use wit and sly observation to explore identity, affection, and the absurdities of both human and feline life. The presentation combines readings with the possibility of brief discussion of voice and persona, and is well suited to literary audiences, libraries, festivals, and writing groups - especially those geared towards pets.
