Biography

Jia Qing Wilson-Yang is a Toronto based writer. Her debut novel, Small Beauty, won the 2016 Lambda Literary Award for Best Transgender Fiction and received and Honourable Mention in the 2016 Dayne Ogilvie Prize for Emerging LGBTQ Writers. Her short fiction and poetry has appeared in ARC, Room Magazine, Maisonneuve, Poetry is Dead, Rice Paper Magazine, Carte Blanche, and The Kit.
