Biography
Highly experienced, full-time freelance writer specializing in travel, lifestyle, and parenting topics. Specialize in covering low-impact ecotourism as well as soft adventures (kayaking, canoeing, snorkelling, rafting, hiking) as well as looking for the undiscovered side of a destination. Also cover RV travel, pet-friendly travel, food & music destinations. Widely published in magazines, newspapers, and websites. In September 2021, published an award-winning travel guide book to the roots of the blues, co-authored with TWUC member Craig Jones: Chasing the Blues: A Traveler's Guide to America's Music published by Globe Pequot/Backbeat Books for release in the U.S., Canada, the UK and across Europe.
