Kelly-Anne Riess is an award-winning freelance journalist and poet who lives in Regina. Her work has appeared in the Globe and Mail, the Montreal Gazette, the Vancouver Sun and other newspapers across the country. She has travelled across North America working on documentaries that have aired on the A&E Biography Channel, History Television and CBC. "In the contemporary social-scapes of Kelly-Anne Riess’ poems, paradise got lost a long time ago. Riess’ Eve is closer to Bridget Jones parachuted onto the streets of Regina. These are sly, wry, manic, and determinedly human poems for the new millennium," writes reviewer Jeanette Lynes of Riess' debut poetry collection To End a Conversation.
