When Your Parachute Fails: Fear, Risk, & the Power of Resilience

Every skydive puts Lana Starchuck face-to-face with mortality, vitality, and trust. Her experience mirrors the courage required of business professionals working under pressure.

With more than 1,000 jumps and five skydiving records, Lana understands that real leadership isn’t about bravado. It’s about presence, collaboration, and moving forward together when the outcome is uncertain.

In this dynamic session, resilience strategist, skydiver, and author Lana Starchuck helps leaders and teams reframe fear, build confidence, and see failure as feedback growth. Using the principles of formation skydiving, Lana explores how shared responsibility, diverse perspectives, and mutual respect are required to move forward together.

Through powerful real-life stories, she connects lessons from skydiving to the operational and practical challenges in today’s ever changing business environments. Lana reminds audiences of the guiding principles they already possess but rarely use in bold new ways like awareness, acceptance, humility, and consistency.

Her approach is uplifting, practical and more relevant than ever, and will leave audiences energized and aligned. Attendees can expect to leave feeling more supported, inspired and better equipped to lead with clarity, compassion, and courage.
