Linda Sanche is a crime writer whose work explores themes of corruption and conflicting loyalties. Her debut novel, Off the Mark, was published this fall by Signature Editions and she is currently working on the sequel. She also writes short stories. Her story, “The Electrician,” was a finalist in the 2025 Crime Writers of Canada Awards of Excellence. She has two new short stories coming out in October, one in the Bouchercon 2026 anthology, the Lines We Cross, and the other in an anthology called Home Sweet Homicide.

Linda is the president of Sisters in Crime – Canada West. For over seventeen years, she worked in Vancouver as a producer, writer, and director of factual series television, including three seasons as senior story producer on the true crime show, Murder She Solved. 

Working on Murder She Solved inspired Linda to retrain as a crime analyst, but she discovered that she was better suited to writing about crime than investigating it. Linda now lives in Calgary with her family.
