Lisa Richter (she/her) is a poet, writer and educator. She is the author of two full-length collections of poetry, Closer to Where We Began (Tightrope Books, 2017) and Nautilus and Bone (Frontenac House, 2020), winner of the National Jewish Book Award for Poetry (US), the Canadian Jewish Literary Award for Poetry, the Alberta Book Publishers Association's Robert Kroetsch Award, and longlisted for the Raymond Souster Award. Her work has been nominated for Best of the Net and a National Magazine Award. Her poetry has been published in numerous journals, including The Fiddlehead, Grain, The New Quarterly, Literary Review of Canada, CV2, The Malahat Review, and elsewhere. She is a mentor and facilitator with the Writers Collective of Canada, and is Editor-At-Large at 128 Lit Magazine.
