Biography

Liv Albert is the host and creator of the world's top Greek mythology podcast, Let's Talk About Myths, Baby! (established 2017). She is the author of the bestselling Greek Mythology: the Gods, Goddesses, and Heroes Handbook (Adams Media, 2021), the myth-centric cocktail book Nectar of the Gods (Adams Media 2022), and contributed the sprawling introduction to Medusa: New and Ancient Tales (Flame Tree Press 2025). Her most recent (and by far her most personally exciting!) is the Odyssey: a Modern Retelling. Liv specializes in Greek mythology, history, and culture, and primarily focuses her energy on women and LGBTQIA people in the ancient world.

While I don't have pre-prepared presentations I welcome speaking engagements with schools and have spoken at universities including Simon Fraser University, the University of British Columbia, the University of Victoria, University of Toronto Scarborough, and Harvard University. 

I welcome discussions across Greek Mythology and am most comfortable with conversation or Q&A formats.
