Louise Bradford is of mixed Canadian and Anishinaabe heritage and is a member of Batchewana First Nation. She is the author of two children’s picture books, Sage and the Snowshoe Express (2026) and Wade’s Wiggly Antlers (2017), both published by Kids Can Press. Her other stories have been produced by CBC Television and CBC Radio. She has been a full-time speechwriter with the Government of Canada for over 20 years. Born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, O.N., Louise now lives and writes in Vancouver, B.C.
