Biography

Mansoor Ladha is an award-winning journalist, editorial columnist, travel writer and author of five nonfiction books: Canadian Experience; Aga Khan: Bridge between East & West; Memoirs of a Muhindi: Fleeing east Africa for the West; Off the Cuff and Portrait in Pluralism: Aga Khan’s Shia Ismaili Muslims. 

 

He was awarded Canadian Governor General's Caring Canadian Award (2023), Silver Quill Award by the Alberta Weekly Newspapers Association (2010) and Citizen of the Year Award by the Town of Morinville, Alberta (2004). He has travelled all over the world as a travel writer and has had travel features with pictures published in leading Canadian newspapers and travel magazines. He has also been a regular editorial commentator for several leading Canadian newspapers.
