Michelle Winters

Biography

Michelle Winters is a writer, painter, and translator born and raised in Saint John, NB. Her debut novel, I Am a Truck, was shortlisted for the 2017 Scotiabank Giller Prize, and her second novel, Hair for Men was named a Book of the Year by Indigo, the Globe and Mail and CBC Books. She is the translator of Daniil and Vanya, and Kissing the Undertow (coming June 2024) by Marie-Hélène Larochelle. 

She lives in Toronto.
