Mikka Jacobsen
BIO
Biography
Mikka Jacobsen is the author of the story collection Good Victory (Freehand 2025), and the essay collection Modern Fables (Freehand 2022), which won the Alberta Book Publishing Award for Non-Fiction. Her work has appeared in PRISM, Joyland, The Fiddlehead, The Missouri Review, and Lit Hub, among others. She teaches at Alberta University of the Arts and lives in Calgary.
