Nathalie Guilbeault
BIO
Biography

Nathalie Guilbeault writes stories that reach into the quiet corners of the human heart—where trauma lingers, memory haunts, and transformation begins. A former executive coach and human resources specialist, she left the corporate world to pursue what had always moved her most: storytelling that tells the truth.

She is the author of Inhaled, a raw, lyrical psychological thriller about love, loss, and surviving narcissistic abuse, and When I Became Never, a sweeping, dark literary novel that spans generations and continents in its exploration of identity, revenge, and healing. Her most recent work, Cold Chaos, Stories from a North, brings readers into the stark, beautiful isolation of northern Quebec, where characters wrestle with belonging, silence, and coming of age in the cold.

Nathalie’s writing has been described as “honest, atmospheric, and emotionally fearless.” Whether she's writing fiction that feels like confession, or essays that resonate like poetry, she writes to connect—with herself, with readers, and with the parts of us we often hide.

Born in Montreal and now living in North Hatley, Quebec, she is also the French section editor for The Nelligan Review, and is currently working on her next novels, Eight Days of Us, a literary fiction romance as well as Circe & Penelope, a work whose genre isn't yet defined.
