Biography

Paulette Dubé was born in Northern Alberta and that geology / geography has shaped her writing beyond anything else.  That said, watching her third sister come into the world via the kitchen table, hooked her into creation and miracles. Paulette has published several books — both poetry and prose — that have either been on "the lists" or garnered awards, including: the James Patrick Follinsbee Prize in English, 1983.The Milton Acorn Memorial Peoples' Poetry Award, 1994.CBC Literary Awards, Poetry -English, Second Place, 2005 She lives in Jasper, where she continues to write and learn.
