Author Sandra Wilson is a seasoned children's author and educator, bringing over four decades of expertise in working with children. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English (Language and Rhetoric) and History, complemented by numerous certifications spanning writing, education, psychology, and additional disciplines. Her educational philosophy focuses on empowering and inspiring children, fostering their storytelling abilities, enhancing their social-emotional learning, and igniting their creative imagination.

Her presentation talks about why the book was created and also offers some discussion on the underlying topic of the book and activities and ideas to further the focus of the book. There is also opportunity for a question-and-answer session with the author.
This is a one hour session that introduces the idea of inspiration behind stories, includes a story reading of one of Author Sandra Wilson’s book with a short behind the scenes “look” at how the story came to be made. There will be a brief lesson on finding inspiration of your own with encouragement to go off and create some stories.
