Sarah Yi-Mei Tsiang is the author of Sweet Devilry (Oolichan Books, 2011) A Flock of Shoes (Annick Press 2010) and Dogs Don't Eat Jam and Other Things Big Kids Know. She has two new books forthcoming with Annick Press, Warriors and Wailers: One Hundred Ancient Chinese Jobs You Might Have Relished or Reviled as well as another picture book, The Stone Hatchlings.
Her work has been published and translated internationally, as well as named to the Best Bets for Children, Best Books for Kids & Teens, Book of the Year Finalist, and nominated for the Blue Spruce Award. She holds an MFA from UBC and graduated from the Humber School of Writing with a letter of distinction. Sarah currentlyteaches Creative Writing for UBC’s Booming Ground program.
