Susan Ketchen was born in Nanaimo, B.C. and pursued an alarming number of careers, including several years running her own counselling practice, before returning to her early interest in writing. Her first novel was published in 2009, and was followed by stand-alone sequels in 2010 and 2012. Susan has an M.Sc. in Marriage and Family Therapy, and has special interests in humour and in patterns of communication and social interaction.
