
Véronique Darwin writes fiction, theatre, and essays. Her debut short story collection, Mom Camp, is forthcoming from Assembly Press in Spring 2026. The title story was runner-up in the Austin Clarke Prize for Excellence in Fiction and published in the Ex-Puritan. She has stories in McSweeney's Quarterly and PRISM International, and her humour pieces appear in Geist, and literary essays and reviews in carte blanche, Porter House Review, Literary Review of Canada, EVENT, and The Fiddlehead. Véronique completed her MFA in Creative Writing at the University of Guelph in 2022 and currently lives in the ski town of Rossland, BC, where she teaches, writes, and makes theatre.
